A lovely way to spend a Sunday -- outdoors, picking fruit, surrounded by the scent of orange blossoms and friendly folks. Organized by FOOD FORWARD of Los Angeles, young and old came together to make sure this delicious fruit made it to the homes of those who would like to have it. The Mandarin oranges we harvested went to the Oxnard Food Bank and BACKYARD BOUNTY of Santa Barbara.
